I request each and every person reading this blog to please spread the awareness about this devastating infant disease. You can find more about this disease on one of my detailed blog just for Krabbe – Leukodystrophy or do some Googling. This is a very rare (1 on 100,000 sort of) but is deadly.

One of my colleague’s daughter has been diagnosed with this disorder and seems like there is no cure for this disease. She is just 7 months old. As per the request from my colleague, I am just trying to help him spread the awareness about it so that the people who are planning for a baby may at least go for a genetic counselling and find out if they might contain any sysmtoms of genetic disorder. And if so what are the tests available.

Please spread this message to as many people as possible and in whatever manner, by sending mail, by putting it in some community portal etc. etc… Please create awareness about this disease or at least pray for the little infant.
