10 Easy Ways to Colder, Better and Green Earth

I think there are very basic ways that can help in keeping the Earth greener & colder.

Use recycled paper.

Try to print both sides of the paper or as far as possible. There are other setting also in which you can print 2 on 2 sided. So basically you are printing on one paper instead of 4 papers.

Think before printing and think again and think again before printing every email you get. Is it really required to print, if not then just note down the important things on a piece of paper instead of wasting a full paper.

Use 60W bulbs instead of 100W unless very much required. It saves your money by saving on electricity as well as less electic consumption per person. Using a lower wattage bulb doesn’t make very much effect on the illumination.

Try to finish all your works outside in a single drive of the vehicle. That will save your time simultaneously less drive on the same path again and again.

Avoid overspeeding just for the sake of fun. Drive within stated speed limits. That will give you more mileage per gallon and at the same time less CO2 in the environment and less consumption of gas per person.

As far as possible, try to go in groups. So that less vehicle are driven and again effectively reducing less gas consumption.

Shut down the computer before leaving office for the day. At the same time if you are not using your computer/laptop in the night, better shut it down before sleeping. That will increase the life of your computer and will save few bucks on electricity bill.

While shopping, carry your own bag instead of using plastic bags from Meijer, Walmart and other grocery stores. That will reduce the consumption of plastics and eventually release of many hazardous gases in the environment.

Run the air conditioner 1 or 2 degree up and heater 1 or 2 degree less. That will save lot of electricity, few bucks on bill and definitely less consumption per person.
There are many easy ways everyone can follow in one’s daily life. This simple measures saves some bucks for yourselves but at the same time impacts the environment in a very positive way. You might be thinking how much saving will that be, but if everyone starts doing that, then that will definitely help in keeping the globe green. “Every drop counts to fill a jar.”
