GamesIf you have noticed some changes in Meebo recently is the addition of online games and applications. As you might already be using with Yahoo! and other IM applications.

You will notice that these applications and games are not from Meebo itself as an organization rather there are service providers. Come2Play, Fuzzy, GameBrew, Presidio Media, Addicting Games and Jiggmin to name the few, definitely more and more will be on the way to a part of this revolutionary webapp. It is good that now you have more and more sophisticated apps. that will enhance your online IM experience with Meebo. Games are really very good.

As a matter of fact, the other party should also be using Meebo when you access these applications or games. So it is not like you start some game and the other party plays that in their Yahoo or Live messenger as was the case with text chat and all. I think it is a kind of an effort to attract more and more users to Meebo.

Applications include Voice Chat, Group Voice Call, Video conference, Video/Audio Call, Live Broadcast and Group Video Chat. In fact all the applications are important now a days when everyone is moving towards VOIP.

As mentioned in my earlier post on Meebo Firefox add-on, the new Meebo firefox add-on lacks lot of features. Many users including me are eagerly waiting for enhancement in that add-on.
