According to this post on Blogger in draft blog, now it will be possible for non-Google/Blogger users to comment on your blog using OpenID.

What you have to do?

To get this facility on your blog, you have to first use Blogger in draft. Then change the comment settings like as shown below. The readers will be able to comment using their OpenIDs.

What your readers will see while commenting?

When the readers are planning to comment, they will see as shown here and they can login with whatever OpenID they want to use. Now the question is what is OpenID? For that you can directly refer to OpenID.net, there everything is explained in detail.

Hold on….don’t think you will have to create another id now. You might already have one OpenID. So you should be able to use OpenID right way. In fact lot of others like Microsoft and Google are also joining the OpenID wagon. Look below:
