Recently I purchased a Custom Domain Name www.knowliz.com from Blogger to host my blog on its own domain. Earlier it used to be a *.blogspot.com free blog.
I looked around for good theme for it and luckily found this clean theme you are seeing at present, tweaked a lot for my personal taste. Everything was all set for couple of days and I got involved in customizing the template.
Some of the readers complained about not being able to access the blog though, but I thought of giving it some time so that the change becomes stagnant.
But it is quite strange to see, after such a long time, it still sometimes gives the notorious 404 : SERVER NOT FOUND error. Why is that?
At one point I thought I did something while changing the template because blogger gave some error code ‘bx..x.x4.5so.’ something. But when I rolled back the changes and it still didn’t work. They say most of the times it is because of corrupted templates.
I Googled for ‘blogger server not found error’ and got couple of links to the Blogger Help Group. Lot of people with custom domain face the same issue it seems. Sometimes, it is solved by changing the current browser from Firefox to IE or vice-versa. But lot of times, it is solved with a magical trick listed below:

- Go to your blog settings.
- Select Publishing tab.
- Switch back your blog address to blogspot address and save it.
- View your blog.
- Then again repeat the same steps but now switch it back to your custom address.
- View your blog again. Voila….hopefully, you will no longer see the 404 : Server not found error.
