After trying Yahoo! Messenger for Vista a couple of months, I finally uninstalled it a couple of days back. Why? Because it didn’t have a voice, webcam and SMS functionality at that time. Most of the time I talk to people, minimum I want to do is a webcam enabled chat and sometimes a voice chat. Though Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 have all those features, but I kind of liked the Vista previews because of its Vista theme. So I kept both of them and kept switching as per need.
Eventually most of the time I kept using 9.0 instead of Vista one, so uninstalled one fine day.
Yesterday I read on Yahoo! Messeger blog, that they have added Voice and SMS facility to Vista Yahoo! Messenger as well. That’s good. But still it doesn’t have webcam facility. Let’s check it out if it is worth installing it again.
