Isn’t it right? Yes, it indeed is.

I kind of got tired using all those tools available out there for blogger to increase exposure and traffic to their blogs. I tried BlogRush, BlogCatalog, MyBlogLog and thousand others, but none of them brought any significant traffic to my blog.
Frankly, these other tools just help the provider itself by increasing their traffic or at most they could help those who are already popular in blogosphere. But for relatively new bloggers these services doesn’t provide any increase in traffic.
Finally, I tried Entrecard and to my surprise IT WORKS and it works REALLY WELL. It brought so much exposure and traffic globally that I am really impressed to see the changes in statics.
Fundamental difference from other services is that Entrecard lets you work towards your own blog promotion.
  • You visit other people blogs, drop your cards, leave comment if you want. In turn they visit your blog from their drop inbox and drop their cards on your blog. (Gain Traffic)
  • You can advertise on someone’s blog and they can do the same on yours. (Earn Credits & Exposure)
  • You earn credits for everything, for dropping your cards on other Entrecard bloggers, someone drops a card on you, someone advertises on your blog widget or even participating in frequent contests organized by Entrecard itself. (Earn Even More Credits to buy advertisement for your blog.)
So there is lot of opportunity out there to increase your blog traffic. It is upto you how much you can handle. The more cards you drop, the more traffic you get. But hold on, there is a limit of 300 drops per day. But I am sure that too is enough for a day, provided you are not a full time blogger and you don’t believe in ‘Drop and Run’.
‘Drop & Run’ is a activity in which the Entrecard users just go to the blog, drop their card and then rush to other blogs. They don’t read the posts on that blog, don’t leave comment or basically they don’t intend to be a blog reader. They just want to earn credits.

I agree I also do the same thing sometimes when I have been to those blogs already and I don’t see any updates from the last time I visited them. And if the dropper on my blog writes in a language I don’t understand or his niche is something which I don’t understand at all. But I make sure to go through the blog the first time I am visiting it. I leave comments and try to build a relationship with the blogger. If next time I visit the blog and it has the same old content then I just drop my card.
Overall, I found this entire Entrecard phenomenon exciting and would definitely recommend the Knowliz readers to use it.
If you already use it, then why not start a new relationship with me by dropping your card here now. If you don’t use it, then ‘Get One’ for your blog and start using it.

Update : I have stopped using Entrecard. Don’t get surprised if you don’t find the widget.
