Have you checked del.icio.us recently?  You will notice in the address bar that del.icio.us is actually delicious.com now.  So finally delicious got it own domain name.  But I think del.icio.us was a more innovative name.

It has got a very cool and soothing blue look with a touch of black and green shades.  I kind of liked this new look a lot over the previous clumsy, old-fashioned and boring list look.

For quick information, I am listing down some features here:

  1. Navigation: The site is now organized in three sections – Bookmarks, People and Tags.
  2. Public Profile: Every user can now create a public profile page.  Check how you appear to others.  Check mine.
  3. Tag Bar: Now it is easy to navigate, arrange and sort your tags and bookmarks.  Autocomplete feature helps browsing through the tags quickly.
  4. Bookmarks: When you look at the bookmarks, the overall look has been given very good thought.  And so, provides you many information upfront.  Below image should be self explanatory.  The popularity of the bookmark is defined by the width and shade of the blue box around the save count.
  5. Sidebars: Now it is easy to bundle your tags.  Nicknaming user in a network is also possible now.  Find out what someone’s collection is all about, the sidebar shows his top 10 tags to give you an overview.
  6. Action Box: The action box gives you the ability to define various aspects of why you selected some particular tag and things like that.
Check out this ‘What’s new’ on delicious for complete details.
