It has always been my commitment to provide KNOWLIZ readers the BEST of the WEB. So today I have installed Odiogo to all my blogs. This small utility converts the entire blog into a podcast.
What it does?
Odiogo converts the entire article into an high quality word spoken mp3 which you can listen to with any mp3 player, PC or phone. You can download the mp3 file and take it with you.
You can subscribe Knowliz articles as a podcast into your favourite mp3 player whether it is Apple ipod or Creative Zen with your favorite podcast software like iTunes and Juice.
How it is beneficial for you?
- You see the Listen Now button.
- Click on this button on any post, it expands as shown.

- Player starts with a small greeting and then starts reading out the entire post to you. You can pause and stop whenever you want.
- If you want to listen to it later, just take your mouse where mp3 is written on the player. There you can download the post you are reading as mp3 file on your desktop.
- Now if you listen to podcasts, then you might want to subscribe this blog as a podcast by clicking
button in the sidebar. - Installing Odiogo is also very easy. As soon as you sign up, you just install a small widget in your blog and rest it does it for you. But if you have a custom template, then you might need some help. The customer service is really very helpful and quick.

Try yourself on this very post and provide your feedback.

@Bill,
I agree with you. It is kind of robotic voice and sometime in a long sentence it keeps reading until it finds comma or full stop.
But it is good if you want to do multi-tasking. you may leave the site open and do other stuff. Because whatever is written, you are hearing.
Kind of a cool utility to have I think.

Hey,
That is very cool! Sounds a little too monotone and robotic, but still very cool.
Hi
you might also want to try http://www.vocalfruits.com. With this web based podcasting service, any registered user can create a podcast from any RSS feed in no time. Other useful and innovative services include aggregating a number of RSS feeds into one podcast or creating your personal podcasts that you can update by emailing to your personal VocalFruits address. The service also provides for a web browser version and a mobile version ideal for listening to content on a mobile phone and other mobile devices. VocalFruits is equally a useful application for content owners to provide their readers with an audio output of their content.
Hope this helps.
