Earlier I provided you 30 travel and vacation related websites and cool tools which you can use to plan your vacation.  Out of those I am sure you might have used almost all of them.
Generally people search for Domestic and International flights on Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia and Cheaptickets.

None of them gives you the ability to track flight ticket rate changes.  What if you booked your ticket today and tomorrow price goes down or may be you are postponing your decision for tomorrow.  When you checked it again tomorrow, the prices were even higher or may be the tickets were not available.  Huh…you thought, may you should have booked it yesterday itself.

There is one such service which can help you track all that : Yapta.

With Yapta you can:

  • Plan your trips for different combination of dates.
  • Track individual flights for rate changes.
  • Check which combination works for you the best, cheaper and sooner.
  • Get help in getting the refunds even after you bought the tickets.

Once you have provided your trip details with your preferences, Yapta will keep tracking for price changes.  If the price change is over a certain amount (which you define, say $10, $50 etc.), Yapta will send you an email indicating the price change.  You can book your flights at that time.

Otherwise, if the price goes down, Yapta can help you get the refunds.  It is a pretty good service which can help you save the money which you might not even know you paid unnecessarily.

Go and register for an account and see yourself if you like it.  Let me know your views about it.  How did you use it?  Did you get any benefit?  Or may be there is any other site which does this activity better than Yapta.
I will love to read your comments on the same.
