Some time back I did a study on photos, video, music and other file sharing services. The result of that study was that I could find 100+ services who let you share and host any kind of file.
I compiled the results in a sortable excel file. This file you can use to find the most suitable service for your need, just start sorting the columns and the results will be filtered for you.
I have arranged the columns based on the purpose and the space they provide for free. Though you always have an option to buy more space and go for premium services. But that is entirely upto you.
(I won’t, when there are so many services providing 10GB (Humyo), 25GB (Skydrive), 50GB (Adrive) and even 1TB (Oosah) space for free). You may even get virtually UNLIMITED online space.
Moreover, there are lots of services being added to this list every day. I will say there is really a very stiff competition. I can never mark this study complete.
And there are some who recently shut down the services, most notably, AOL Pictures, AOL Uncut Videos and X-drive.
I will keep updating this list as and when I get updated information and I get time. For now, here is the consolidation for my study for you to enjoy and use to find any service to fulfill your file sharing needs.
