There are so many ways to post to twitter, right…
But none of them included tweeting by email. Now there is.
TwitterMail helps you tweet on your twitter account by sending an email to a specific email address, you create by using your twitter information (username & password).
Features:
- Send a tweet by sending an email to a special email id created for you. (Strange but leave the subject line empty and put your message in the body.)
- Long URLs are automatically shortened, so don’t worry about that.
- And don’t constrain yourself for 140 characters. First 140 characters are displayed with a ‘Read More’ link to the rest message in the last.
- You will receive a reply from your friends in the email itself. (provided they reply with @yourusername)
- You can get the last 20 tweets from your friends in an email. Just send an email with ‘Friends’ in the subject.
- Schedule your tweets by putting time in the subject.
- The best part, even when twitter is down, your tweets are posted as soon as twitter.com comes live. So it doesn’t matter if twitter is down or not.

True friends,
Everyone is building around either Twitter or Facebook. Looks like they are winning over the world.
Friendfeed and Ping.fm are definitely some of them, and I think everyday one or the other service adds these features.
But TwitterMail is one of my favourite app.

Ping.fm is also worth looking at. It has fewer features, but a) It allows you to post to lots of accounts at once and b) It supports mail, IM and web plus has a growing collection of desktop clients.
Such a huge world building up around twitter. Now I want to tweet from Friendfeed!
Now this is most different from all the other twitter apps.
Yep, it is really a good one for those who don’t want to install anything or are not allowed to install (work computers) anything on their machines.
And the features are also cool…
Cheers
