I am sure you are struggling to keep in balance you social activity on various social networks like Orkut, Facebook, Hi5 and Myspace etc.
Because it becomes really impossible for a sensible human being to be active on all the social networks at the same time and keep in touch with his/her contacts on regular basis. It will not only be exhaustive but also impractical to keep in touch with your friends on various social networks at the same time.
Some use
Facebook, some Orkut, some Hi5 and some of the friends are on Myspace. Ultimately to reduce the burden, you stop using some of them and concentrate your energy on just one or two max.
But hold on…
Why should you leave your friends using Hi5 just because you don’t use it, why do you need to invite them to Facebook or Orkut? They become mad getting all the invites you send them when you join yet another network.
The answer is use Power.com.
What is Power?
Power.com is a technology platform that aims to integrate social sites and create a common environment for connecting users, communities and content in order to facilitate communication, browsing, and interactivity as well as provide an enhanced user experience. Power.com is compatible with the following social sites: Orkut, MySpace, Hi5, Facebook, Flogão and VoteMe.
Do I need to register for yet another Social network?
No, not at all. Just use any of your existing login details for Facebook, Hi5 etc.
How does it feel like being at Power.com?
I will say, no different then being at Orkut, Facebook or Hi5 etc. Look the images below.
So, you see, you are in fact accessing all your favourite social networks, your friends on different networks, all at the same time. That makes it really easy to see all the updates you received from your friends and at the same time makes it easy to update your status and profile as well.

Instead of accessing them individually, I love the ease of accessing them simultaneously.
What are you thinking then…??? Go ahead and click the adjacent invite image to access all your favourite networks through
Power.
And don’t forget to tell me about your experience while you are there. Tell me if you like it or not.
Update (01/16/09): Because of several reports and issues raised from various Social Networks like Facebook and Myspace, I no longer recommend Power.com to Knowliz readers. Also if you have already used and linked your accounts with Power, then I would recommend you to change you login credentials just to be on the safer side.
Be confident, Knowliz will NEVER recommend or suggest anything which is not safe or is doubtful in any sense to its readers. This is the assurance Anurag Bansal can give you.
Suggested Posts…
I was also thinking about it in fact.
But at the same time, as you know you may add Friendfeed, twitter etc. in Facebook. And then access that through power, so you might be all set.
Ofcourse, adding it as an option will be beneficial for those who don’t know about it.
Right..
Cheers…
Anurag Bansal
this service looks pretty promising! if they could also include other networks such as multiply, friendster, twitter. ah, this would certainly be the best. will check this service out. ^_^
