- Best user support I have seen from any of these companies. JS-Kit CEO (Khris Loux) himself alongwith Head – Product Strategy (Chris Saad) are involved in providing best user experience and to see if the users are facing any issue while using JS-Kit. So you don’t have to go through another forum to get answers of simple problems.
Even better, tweet your problem to @JSKitSupport on twitter to get an immediate attention. - You don’t have to be geek to use JS-Kit on your Blogger blog. Installation of JS-Kit on your blog is just 5 minute job. That requires you to know how to download and upload a template to Blogger. Very easy and flawless.
- You don’t need to know lot of HTML or CSS to use JS-Kit.
- You don’t have to sign up for yet another account to use it.
- Facebook connect and Open ID both are available by default. So don’t worry about losing any of the goodies provided by any of these systems.
- The comments left using JS-Kit are synchronised with the default blogger platform. In case you wanna remove JS-Kit later on, you won’t lose your comments ever.
- Your existing comments on Blogger are intact and visible to all as earlier.
- SPAM protection is provided using Akismet.
- JS-Kit comments support WYSIWYG rich text editor, embedding videos and the use of emoticons.
- Blogs enabled with JS-Kit loads a little slower. I have got the same message from some fellow users.
- Provide a better web interface. Current web site looks pretty raw and crude. Though it provides all the information but the user interface is just un-intuitive.
- Provide more default options for comment appearances (skins). I know I can do it with some CSS edits mentioned on the site. Still non-geeky bloggers will love you for that.
- Move the ‘Add Picture’ link on the bottom of the comment box to under Avatar default box. I think it makes more sense there.
- I will love to see better profile management for admins.
- I think some clutter can be reduced from the comment drop down.
- First of all, merge the two options ‘Existing JS-Kit profile’ and ‘New JS-Kit profile’ into just one ‘JS-Kit’ profile. Then provide an option to either sign-up or sign-in.
- Change couple of other entries to make them more intuitive.
- I think finally there should be 4 entries in the drop down as mentioned below:
- Guest/Anonymous
- JS-Kit/Haloscan Profile
- OpenID/Email
- Connect with Facebook
- How about combining various user profiles into one. For example a comment left using Facebook connect should reflect the same user even if he/she leaves a comment using OpenID. (Provided user has linked those account obviously.)
- I would love more web 2.0 goodies like fetching information from various social networks/profiles just like other commenting system do.
- Make it possible to reply, approve, delete or spam comments by email. DISQUS and IntenseDebate both provides that option.
- Provide an option to use video commenting from Seesmic and likes.
I am not sure if it is too much to ask for from any one commenting system to do all of them. And if some of the option are already available.
But if any service is going to replace the basic blogger commenting system on any blog, it better provide most of these options. Else there is no problem with the existing Blogger comment system as well.
Thank for the great and easy to use service.

disquss is way better IMO
I was torn between Disqus and IntenseDebate also. Intense debate seemed
to have a little more positive feedback online so I went with them.
ipad 3
I really like the latest proposal referred to in paragraph 6. Ever since I installed it on my blog by JS-Kit, a series of regular observations are commenting as “guest” even though I know Google Account and have access to my Google page (requested) on top.

Oh nice, thanks for share!
man the toolbar is this wibiya? its annoying..
I find Disqus to have its problems but overall I find it’s the most appealing to commenters because of it’s user interfacing. I’m not only talking about the cross-platform social media options but the general ease by which you can type and submit comments. That being said, JS-Kit is also very good. I feel Disqus is great at discouraging spammers but JS-Kit is a better service overall.
my Firefox scrolling function is kinda choppy.
nice
Disqus is probably the fastest commenting system in the internet to date. I highly recommend it to all of my clients. Great job!
Disqus has always been my favorite commenting system. The speed of it always amazes me.Disqus is under active development.it is a listen to user feedback.
Disqus Comments is for bloggers and publishers who wish to use Disqus on their sites, while Disqus Profile is for the rest of us who are commenting on sites powered by Disqus.
Thanks for sharing, I would come back often.
cool! thanks a lot for that post, it’s very useful for me
Hi
what you recommended about the useful of JS-Kit made me amazing . I think JS-Kit is the best system for me . I will trail and install it .
That Sounds interesting, I agree with you. Please keep at your good work, I would come back often.
Great post. I was torn between Disqus and IntenseDebate also. Intense debate seemed to have a little more positive feedback online so I went with them. I may give Disqus a second look.
great share, thank for post, very useful for blogger
jskit is not for real
I really like your last suggestion in point 6. Since I installed JS-Kit on my blog, several regular commenters are commenting as "Guest" even though I know they have Google IDs and navigated to my page from a Google (authentication required) site.
@sujamthe Writing a blog post abt it in detail. Will let you know. But for now you may check – http://cli.gs/APEPrU & http://cli.gs/8S1S5E
i tried disqus and intense debate sometime back and although they do have their pros, wasnt that satisfied enough with its features to add it in my blog.
what i like about js-kit is the commentluv integration. this is one of the friendliest plugin here in the blogosphere and i salute them for creating one for blogger.
Hi Chris,
Thanks for dropping by.
I will stick around, but was wondering if I am going to see some changes soon.

Also, no one from Support has contacted me so far about the problem of importing comments from DISQUS to JS-Kit and Blogger.
