   • QuickVoice Recorder: Good application for recording ideas, voice notes, dictations, todo items etc. etc. It is very easy to use and works flawlessly.
     
2. Productivity
   • ToDo: Toodledo team has a real nice TODO application for iphone. You can sync your task with Toodledo online, use twitter or email to post tasks to Toodledo. (Looks like it is no longer free.)
     
3. Finance
   • Balance: Keeping track of daily expenses, mainly cash became easy after I installed this easy application. Just keep entering the amount, type, name and date of transaction, Balance will keep balancing your account. Hey don’t worry, you can password protect your details.
     
   • Paypal: The Paypal application lets you send money to anyone on the go. You can check out your balance and history as well before you buy anything using Paypal.
     
4. Travel
   • Google Earth: Does it need any explanation???
     
   • Yelp: Yelps gives you reviews and ratings of the nearby places. Just check out the review on Yelp before going to any place for dinner, dance or even bar and movie theatre. You can even search for nearby places of interest you can go.
     
   • Urbanspoon: Want to eat something but can’t figure out where to go. Well, Urbanspoon can help. Just shake your iphone and Urbanspoon will suggest you something randomly. Don’t like surprises, then lock one or two of the parameters and then shake.
     
5. News & Weather
   • USA Today: News on the go.
     
   • The Weather Channel: Check out the weather of the current location with upto 10 days forecast and other details. Same as you do online.
     
6. Entertainment
   • Backgrounds: I don’t know how many beautiful images I have downloaded with this free application. You will even get tired looking at those many beautiful wallpapers for your iphone. This is one of my favorite application. Just search with categories or browse with Popular and recent tags. All downloaded images are also free. Go ahead and start beautifying your iphone.
     
   • Joost: With Joost you can watch even more online videos in best quality. You can watch drama, comedy, action, video song or any other kind of video with Joost iphone application. If you like something, don’t forget to share it with your friends as well.
     
7. Music
   • Pandora: Just search for your favorite singer and Pandora will create your own station. That is your very own FREE station which will play songs from your favorite singer and likes.
     
   • AOL Radio: Listen to AOL Radio on your iPhone. Or you can try its sibling Soutcast Radio too.
     
8. Games
   • Falling Balls: Tilt iphone left or right to run left or right and save the thin guy from falling balls. That’s all. This is a very addictive game, I am telling you.
     
   • iBowl: Swing your iphone just as you will throw the ball on a real bowling lane. Then see how many pins you dropped. Play against your friends and others live from your iphone.
     
   • Blackjack: Play against house in the legendary game of Blackjack on your iphone.
     
   • Sudoku: Who doesn’t know about Sudoku. Play Sudoku on your iphone. If you like purchase the full version.
     
   • VirtualPool: You can bet against the preset computer players. Check out where the ball will hit, see it from over board, move the ball with your finger and earn cash. Play once you will understand otherwise checkout the video too.
     
   • Cube Runner: Fly your ship across a landscape while avoiding the cubes which lie in the path. Swoop through narrow gaps with this really addictive game. I am sure you will be surprised why the game is FREE.
     
   • Tunnel: Similar to Cube Runner but in Tunnel, you have a ship which passes through a never ending tunnel. Beware, don’t hit the wall and make sure you don’t play it for a long time. This games is known to create dizziness.

   • eBay Mobile: With this eBay iphone application you can buy and sell item wherever you want and whenever you want.

    • AIM: Chat with your AOL/AIM friends on the go with this iphone AIM application.
      
    • Fring: Fring helps you bring all your social profiles Windows Live, AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Skype and all in one application. Just enter all your profile details and then you are online everywhere with the cool application.

    • IfFound Please…: Who wants to love an iPhone? Then why not create a wallpaper with this application to provide your contact details, in case, someone finds you iphone…
    • WiFinder: This application increases the inbuilt iphone WiFi finder capability by searching all the wifi networks in your area. Just select one of the item from the list (if it is open) and select ‘Connect’.
