We have been fighting against SPAM emails forever and no matter what you do, you are still very much open to this threat.  But now you will have to fight with SPAM in your Post box too.  Look at the attached pdf file I scanned from a mail I received in my post box yesterday.  It is another prank call ‘This is the 2nd Notice – The factory warranty of your vehicle may have expired…’ sort of thing. Though this time you might even believe it because it came in a mailbox and looks very authenticated, unless you read it very carefully.

How I figured it was SPAM because of the very first sentence, ‘You purchased your 1999 Taurus 2 months ago.’ I said, what….??? I am using my Taurus for over 4 years, how come it says – 2 months.
Just wanted to give a heads up to all of you guys – BEWARE…. In this bad economy people are really working hard to find out ways to steal your hard earned money.
Read all the offers really really carefully you get either in email or in snail mail.  When the offer looks too good to be true, think, think and think again before calling any number and providing your personal information.  You may be the next identity theft victim.
