- Log in to Gmail (or Google Apps account if you have one).
- Go to ‘Settings‘ on the upper right hand.
- Go to ‘General‘ Tab. You should already be there by default.

- Check the ‘Enable Transliteration‘ check box, and
- Select your preferred language among Hindi, Kannada, Tamil etc.

- Save Changes on the bottom of the page.
- Try to ‘Compose Mail‘, you should see an extra icon as shown below.

- That’s it. Enjoy sending emails in Hindi, Kannada etc.
