- Invisible Hand: I explained about Invisible Hand couple of days back. This Firefox add-on sits quietly in the browser, but pops-up when you are visiting a product detail page. Check out the previous review to know more about it.
- Shopping Notes: Never miss a sale again…get alerts when the item goes on sale or the price drops. Just enter the URL of the product page or search for it in Google, enter your email address to receive alerts.
- Zingsale: ZingSale is a free service that helps you save money on all of the stuff you want to buy! Just tell it what you want and receive an alert when it goes on sale. It’s a fun, easy and free way to save money!
- PricePinx: Price!pinx is about saving money. Tell it the products you want to buy online, it will monitor the prices and notify you by email about price drops as they happen. So easy! Be the first to know when the price of a product drops.
- Shop It To Me: Think of it as your free personal online shopper. Select your favorite apparel brands such as Prada, Armani etc and sizes. It’ll scour the websites of leading retailers like and send you a Salemail – a daily or weekly email summary of which new items go on sale in your size.
Some of these tools can help you save a lot of money. But a little bit of planning beforehand will will beneficial. If you are more of a urgent buyer, then these tools won’t help. They can help only when you are still in planning phase.
However, if you know you are going to buy a particular item on Halloween or during Christmas, then these tools can go hand in hand and save you really handsome money.
Check them out and let me know in comments how do you like them. What are the features you liked most? And if any, what changes you would like to see in these tools? Do not hesitate to suggest any other service you use while shopping.
