Ubuntu latest release 9.10 Karmic Koala is now available for download. This is the final release of the latest Ubuntu Linux OS. Most of the techies have already been using Ubuntu 9.10 from Alpha, Beta and RC phases, but for those who played a little safe or didn’t get time earlier. Now is the time to upgrade and install the latest Ubuntu OS. I have been using 9.10 since Beta.
To know what is new, take a tour. If you have been running 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) or even 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex), then you might want to read this article for instructions on installing/upgrading to 9.10 easily while saving a lot of time. Check out the walk through video.

I was using Ubuntu 9.04 and upgraded to 9.10 but i got a problem in booting after downloaded the new version, the error message was “INITRD” is unknown. so the computer now is stuked, do you have any advice to help me?
