Adobe has a online suite of office applications – Buzzword – the Word Documents; Table – the Excel and Presentation – the Powerpoint replacement along with an easy online meetings application ConnectNow.  Read an earlier review of all Adobe Acrobat services on Knowliz.

Earlier all these applications were separate but now Acrobat.com has combined all of them under one roof with two tabs as FILES and MEETINGS. FILES tab has all office document options while MEETINGS tab allow you easy access to all meeting related options.

With this latest release Acrobat.com makes it easy to access all files and documents from a single dashboard. You can create PDFs as well as upload other files to store on your 5GB online space provided by Acrobat for FREE to every user on sign-up.

As mentioned earlier Buzzword, Tables and Presentations have the coolest interface possible as compared to other online counterparts like Google Docs and Zoho etc.  If you haven’t tried it yet, then I would suggest you to give it a try as soon as you can.  You will forget you desktop office application after using it, I believe.

Latest feature update includes:

  • Tables include export to XLS, CSV and PDF, printing, find & replace, filtering improvements.
  • Presentations include import PPT and PPTX files, support for FXG files, spell check in 19 languages, easy ways to browse Flickr and Google public images, integration with Kuler for additional color sets, more slide transition styles, and more.
  • Great new feature for publishing a slide deck so you can access it via a link or embedding the slides on a website or blog.
  • Improved PDF conversion. You’ll also see greatly improved fidelity across a wider variety of document types.
