Most of us are becoming addicted to Facebook and other social networks. We use Facebook to share everything (links, quick tips, pictures and videos etc.) with our personal and professional friends.
I am sure many of you use Facebook to share photos with your friends. But do you know you don’t have to use Facebook interface always to upload photos to Facebook. You may use various applications to do that.
For example, Facebook has very interactive applications for various mobile platforms – iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile etc.
However, nothing would be easier than sending an email, right….because emails are accessible everywhere. They are not blocked in offices where most of the social networks are possibly blocked. So how to do that? Below are the easy steps to get started:
- Login to your Facebook profile.

- Click on this link – http://www.facebook.com/mobile.
- As soon as you reach there while logged in, you will see your personalized email address, as shown.
- That’s it. Note down this email address in your phone address book. And don’t share it with anyone.
(Else they will be able to upload photos/videos to your profile without your knowledge.) - Now compose an email in your preferred program – Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail and send it to this address with your photos and videos attached in it. Subject line will become the caption of these photos.
- Your media files will be available on your profile soon.
- Remember the photos and video you upload through this email address are public by default. So make sure to go to Facebook settings if you want to change it.
Now you don’t have to wait to share your best shot with your friends. If you have access to an email, you have access to Facebook, no matter where you are.
BTW, if you happen to be a Picasa fan too, then learn how you can upload photos to Facebook using Picasa Desktop.
Drop in comments if you know better tricks. I am very interested in learning how you share media with your friends on various social networks.

The online research paper team says that Facebook has been the in thing. From what I heard, Facebook has reached (more or less) 300 users worldwide. Users had turned gaga over the features that this social networking site is offering. It’s usability and applications had lured internet users to abandon Friendster and pour in all their internet usage time to Facebook.
I’m a self-confessed Facebook addict, I own several accounts on Facebook. I got my first invitation last year, I accepted the invitation and abandoned it. Then another invitation (to another e-mail address) early this year and since then I got hooked. I started from playing online poker, tending my farm, played God Father and the addiction grew further.
Honestly, I feel that sometimes Facebook is stealing some precious time from what I’m doing. It’s so addicting that sometimes I would delay lunch so that my crops won’t go wasted.
I think I’m infected with this thing called Facebook Addiction Disorder, I just hope that I can still be rehabilitated. How about you? Are you addicted to Facebook?
