As you know on January 12th a major 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti. Over 3 Millions of people lives have been affected, over 50,000 dead, and thousands of buildings collapsed because of this natural calamity. Various news services tell us that the damage is even more than has been actually accounted for.
In this hard time, numerous organizations have come forward to help.  Many companies have committed to support Haiti earthquake relief effort with Millions of dollars, e.g. Google committed to donate $1 Million dollars.

As an individual we can also help for the relief efforts with whatever we can.  I will urge all Knowliz readers to provide support and donate as much as possible.  You may use Google Checkout (as shown in the image below) to donate for Haiti Earthquake Relief or any other organization as mentioned here. (There are tons of them and even more are suggested by users.)

If you are more of a SMS loving guy, then you may also help by sending text “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10 via the Red Cross.

I will strongly recommend all of you guys to please help those in need and share any possible amount you can.  Every penny counts.  So visit this page on Google and use your Gmail account to donate whatever amount you want for Haiti Earthquake Relief.
