Yahoo, AIM, Gtalk, ICQ, Facebook and Myspace – you have friends everywhere.  Though I am sure, you wouldn’t want to install different apps just to talk to couple of your friends on that network.  Instead you need something where you can talk to all of your friends and buddies, no matter which IM network they are on.

eBuddy is such an app which allows you to chat with anyone on any of these instant messaging networks – Yahoo, Windows Live Hotmail, AIM/AOL, Google Talk, Facebook, ICQ, Hyves and Myspace.  With FREE eBuddy app you can remain online for up to 2 hours after exiting the app.  However eBuddy Pro ($4.99) keeps you online for 1-3 days after exiting the app.  So you can be ‘Always Online’ kind of a guy.

  • Automatic reconnection if the connection was lost somehow.
  • Rest all other IM features you would expect from any messenger application.

The next best app in this category is Beejive which is generally $9.99 and has almost all the feature eBuddy FREE app has.  So you can easily save $9.99 for Beejive or at least $4.99 for eBuddy Pro if you are don’t mind ad supported apps.  You can always run the app after you are logged out after 2 hours to login again.  Rest all features are the same in FREE and Pro.

I will leave decision to you but I would highly recommend you to try eBuddy iPhone app to chat with all your buddies on any IM networks from within a single app.  No need to install AOL, Yahoo and other separate apps on your iPhone.  Let us know your views in the comment section about this app or any other app you use for this purpose.
