They talk nothing but Innovation, Technology, Business and Development

Do you want to hear what influential people have to say about latest trends in Business and Technology?  Are you keen on learning about latest Innovations in Technology?  And do you like to hear and read at various high profile forums in general to know more about global trends in Business and Development?  If your answer is yes, then please keep reading.

Today in this article, I am going to introduce you to 5 such sites where you will find no junk.  They are not news sites, they don’t make stuff, and they don’t tell you HOW TO and HOW NOT TO do something.  These sites concentrate themselves around highly educated people, world’s most inspired thinkers.  These are the forums and the gateway to know the latest trend in Technology, Innovation, Business and Development.

Their objective is to THINK BIG and SHARE IDEAS to improve society, business methodology and discuss latest technology innovations.  They have regular conferences around the globe to talk about all this.  Below are some of my favourite:

1.  TED: Ideas Worth Spreading

On TED there are over 700 talks about Technology, Design and Innovation which are recorded during various TED conferences globally.  For many years TED has been a great source of Technology and information.  You will be amazed to see so many inspirational and informative videos freely available on TED.

2.  Big Think:

Big Think is a global forum connecting people and ideas.  At BigThink invaluable information is available from experts in respective fields.  Big Think can put you in contact with the ideas of very smart people, the people who have been in your shoes and have better knowledge to share with the world.  Obviously, experts do not have all the answers. But they can definitely help you make better decisions in your personal and professional lives if the thinking is informed by expert opinion.
At BigThink you get to read ideas and opinion of deep thinkers in the respective field.  This site offers interesting discussion about various current affairs.

3.  IdeaCity:

IdeaCity, also known as ‘Canada’s Premiere Meeting of the Minds’, is an eclectic gathering of artists, adventurers, authors, cosmologists, doctors, designers, entertainers, film-makers, inventors, magicians, musicians, scientists and technologists. 50 of the planet’s brightest minds converge on Toronto each June to speak to a highly engaged audience. Only 700 are privileged to attend.  The site gathers all the ideas shared during these meetings.

4.  PopTech : World Changing People, Project and Ideas:

PopTech is a global community of cutting-edge leaders and thinkers from many different disciplines, who come together to explore the social impact of new technologies, the forces of change shaping our future, and new approaches to solving the world’s most significant challenges.
