Finance is something you don’t rely on others so quickly. That’s why you don’t even try various apps on your new Android apps related to finance. Well, that’s why there is Knowliz, where you can fully rely on the reviews and the associated recommendations. Isn’t it?
Today I am reviewing some of my favorite android apps in Finance category. Here they are:
Keep track of your finances:
- Mint: Track your spending on the go. All your bank accounts, credit cards and everything else at one place – in your hands with your Android phone. Download the free Mint app to keep these details handy.
Send and Receive money anytime anywhere:
- Paypal: PayPal is one of the best Android apps. You can send and receive money to and from anyone with an email. PayPal also uses Bump technology to instantly transfer money between two people nearby with an Android or iPhone. With this app, you can also split bill and set reminders for your bills.
- Square: Just this week I posted a detailed review about Square. Check this out to know more about Square. In short, you can receive payment from anyone anywhere anytime using this app along with a card reader.
Bank Accounts:
- Discover Mobile: (or any other bank app) You will need this kind of app so that to be able to transfer money, pay bills and to be on top of your finances whenever you want. I use Discover Mobile which lets me make bill payments and check my transactions, rewards and all.
- PNC Bank: Pay bills, transfer money between two accounts and remain up to date with your finances whenever you need. (You may need different app based on your bank.)
Keep yourself up to date with Finance news:
- DailyFinance – Stocks and News: DailyFinance from AOL Mobile is the most powerful app for investors and market followers. It provides free real-time stock quotes, multiple portfolios and market news from various sources.
- Bloomberg: Get comprehensive business news, market data with easy to understand charts and graphs that illustrate the impact of important business trends and issues using Bloomberg app for Android.
- Google Finance: Google Finance provides you real-time quote for your portfolio and allows quick access to charts and latest market and company news. A must have for the people dealing in stocks.
- Yahoo! Finance: With Yahoo! Finance app on your android phone you can view daily market summary and new, track stocks you are interested in and watch other finance related news and videos.
Be Safe, no matter what you do:
- VIP Access: VeriSign Identity Protection access for Mobile provides a security code from your phone that you can use with your user name and password for secure account access on sites such as eBay, PayPal and AOL. It adds an extra layer of security on top of your strong password. A must have for anyone dealing with PayPal and eBay.
You may or may not need all of them, so try which one you prefer and use that. But you need to keep at least one app from each category mentioned above. Lets me know in comment section which one do you use and why. Is there any other Finance related app you can’t manage without.

Haven’t checked the rest of the apps as they are not of much use to me.
Mint and Paypal apps are no longer available on the Android Market. Not sure why these apps have been removed. Haven’t checked the rest of the apps as they are not of much use to me.
